One of the mandates included in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention plan for cruise ships to be able to restart sailings from the United States is for each line to secure agreements with port and health authorities in the U.S. cities they plan to visit. Amber Cove is the ships first port of call during the voyage and with a departure time of 6:30 PM. In a statement on the Disney Cruise Line website, the line said, We continue to carefully review the guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and are working toward resuming operations.
